Corvallis Repertory Singers – $900

Support for a concert celebrating Oregon’s 150th birthday

Corvallis Youth Symphony – $1,000

Scholarship support for strings students at Garfield Elementary School

Corvallis – OSU Symphony – $780

Underwriting score-rental fees for “All American” Music concert

Da Vinci Days Festival – $500

Additions to the the Big Puppet Project

Tcha Tee Man Wi – $1,000

Support for bringing nationally known storytellers to the annual storytelling festival

The Arts Center – $1,600

Support of the Center’s Native Arts and Culture Program for school students

Rainbow Health Resources/Ajai Tripathi – $500

Support of script development for a locally based anti-bullying project

Whiteside Theatre Foundation – $2,000

Support for phase two of the restoration of the Whiteside’s Wurlitzer theatre Organ

Willamette Apprentice Ballet – $800

Help in purchasing costumes for “West Side Story” ballet

The Coalition had a total of $11,000 available for grants to projects in the arts, heritage, and humanities in Benton County in December, 2008.
